#Pawties and Events are where anipals and humans get together for a Twitterin’ good time. In their tweets they use an introductory hashtag (#) so everyone who wants to join in the fun can easily find them by searching Twitter for #(fill in the blank) pawty or #(event name). #Pawties and Events is where you will find out about the #Pawties taking place on Twitter and where I point you to the official The Anipal Times #Pawty & Events Calendar. Remember to check out the calendar so that you can find the dates and times to mix and mingle with anipals. Now let’s read about some of the #pawties and events that happened by the deadline for this article:

#KTFSC

#KTFSC On 25 June, the wonderful @FlaCatLady greeted all of the anipal guests who came to celebrate the wedding of her son, @KingTuttiFruiti, to Ms. @ShaynaCat.  Anipals from all over the globe, donned in suave tuxes and glamurous dresses, were flown in style by pilot @TinyPearlCat to the Bahamas and convened on Catnip Island Resort. Prior to the ceremony wedding guests were treated to a plethera of fun activities including swimming, massages, spa treatments, volleyball, hang gliding, fshing, kayaking, wind-surfing and even some scuba diving excursions lead by @Dogstoyevsky.  The wedding itself was glamurous and fittingly beautiful for @ShaynaCat as she sashayed her way down the isle to meet her mancat @KingTuttiFruiti (who looked pretty darned amazing). All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen where looking and acting sharp, truly everyone glowed with happiness for this wonderful couple. After the wedding anipals enjoyed some great food–seafood buffet, crab legs, cod, snapper and tuna; as well as bacon-wrapped filet mignon and the honey cream cheese tart were some of my favorites.  To see pictures of this wonderful event, please click here.

All anipals know that @ShaynaCat and @KingTuttiFruiti do much to help out anipals. While much of their time and attention goes to #NipClub, a joyous fun weekly #pawty, they still wanted to use their wedding as a way to helping raise awareness of the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary (@BlindCatRescue). Wedding guests learned about the great work that @BlindCatRescue does–they offer a safe place for blind cats and help to find them wonderful, loving forever homes. Guests, moved by the great work of @BlindCatRescue, made donations and thanked Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary for all of their work. The bride and groom showed such grace to help bring attention to the wonderful work of this great animal rescue.  The wedding of @KingTuttiFruiti and @ShaynaCat was a #pawty not to be missed–it was a spectacular event enjoyed by all!

Upcoming #Pawties and Events Remember to see the #Pawty and Events calendar to get more info on some other wonderful events. Get ready for #DogTalk, #PetChat, #KeepFits, #NipClub, #CookinWifRabbits, and #Purrs4Peace. Tune in to these entertaining and highly informative weekly shows where you can say “Hi” to old friends and hopefully make new friends, too.
