Japan Animal, Earthquake and Tsunami Relief #Pawty
We’ve all read about the devastation, as well as the heart-warming stories of survival, that have swept Japan. Leave it to us anipals to figure out a way to lend a hand! Thanks to #NipClub, on Thursday, 17 March 2011, you can get your green on for St. Patrick’s Day and join those crazy anipals of #NipClub, 4PM-Midnight, Eastern time, USA, to help raise awareness and funds for the animals of Japan!
@TheNascarKitty, official host of #NipClub, along with @SeattleP and @FlaCatLady (some of the #pawty founders), invite you to join this Thursday’s St. Patrick’s Day fun! At #NipClub you can kiss the Blarney Stone, while also helping World Vets raise funds for Japan Animal Aid. World Vets is a international veterinary aid organization providing ongoing veterinary programs in 28 countries worldwide as well as disaster response for animals. Currently World Vet is mobilizing supplies, gear and a first responder team to head to Japan to help the animals impacted by the recent tragic disaster in that country.
While donations to help Japan’s animals are needed, you can also help simply by showing up to the #pawty and re-tweeting #NipClub shout outs — you’ll participate in a meaningful way that will help change the course of an animal’s life. As we all know, animals are often forgotten in times of such catastrophic tragedies; World Vets has vowed to not forget them!
