#Pawties and Events are where anipals and humans get together for a Twitterin’ good time. In their tweets they use an introductory hashtag (#) so everyone who wants to join in the fun can easily find them by searching Twitter for #(fill in the blank) pawty or #(event name). #Pawties and Events is where you will find out about the #Pawties taking place on Twitter and where I point you to the official The Anipal Times #Pawty & Events Calendar. Remember to check out the calendar so that you can find the dates and times to mix and mingle with anipals. Now let’s read about some of the #pawties and events that happened by the deadline for this article:
#CatMasEve Invite
#CatMasEve promised to be ‘Fun for all anipals and their friends,’ and boy did it deliver! @FrugalDougal led the way as quizmaster and had anipals playing games for chances to win some great #pawty prizes. Delicious noms were provided by @JavaTheCat, with @Flicka47 adding her special Cookie Cafe touch. With @FergustheDog rounding up the DJs, @GeorgetheDuck herding the barktenders, and @Snick_the_Dog wrangling up sekurity, this #CatMasEve was a #pawty that will be remembered for years to come. Anipals, donned in their most festive apparel, joined in the fun and howled along with their favorite holiday tunes, nommed on all of the delectible goodies–and topped of the year by *smooching* and *hugging* all their friends, old and new!
This year #CatMasEve honored the Black Cat Rescue group out of Boston, MA, USA. Did you know that black cats are only half as likely to get adopted as cats of other colors? It’s true, and that is why @Georgetheduck helped out through his #CatMasEve pawty. The Black Cat Rescue group is an all-volunteer network of foster homes in the Greater Boston area that is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless black cats and kittens by providing quality foster care while actively seeking loving, permanent adoptive homes. “Thanks to @FrugalDougal and Pawpawty we learned that we can help our Black Cat friends by collecting sofa change at our annual #CatMasEve pawty. Being as we’re the House of the Mostly Black Cats, we has a special spot in our hearts for thems. They are half as likely to be rescued as other color kitties and that is very sad.”
#CatMasEve pawty was a fun time for all anipals and their friends–a great time event that was shared by all as no one should be alone on Catmas Eve. Don’t worry, if you couldn’t attend the #pawty because you were busy with your own holiday festivities, there is still time to check out Black Cat Rescue and make a donation if you are able; and if not, don’t fret it, just offer some good thoughts and well wishes to our wonderful friends at this fabulous rescue group!

Sorry I had to miss CatMas Eve pawty – I’m sure it was a good time and money raised for the black kitties.
#CatmasEve was a blast! Yay George and Sanjee!
