#Pawties and Events are where anipals and humans get together for a Twitterin’ good time. In their tweets they use an introductory hashtag (#) so everyone who wants to join in the fun can easily find them by searching Twitter for #(fill in the blank) pawty or #(event name). #Pawties and Events is where you will find out about the #Pawties taking place on Twitter and where I point you to the official The Anipal Times #Pawty & Events Calendar. Remember to check out the calendar so that you can find the dates and times to mix and mingle with anipals. Now let’s read about some of the #pawties and events that happened by the deadline for this article:
#PawPawty
On 16-17 October 2010, #pawty-master @FrugalDougal welcomed anipals big and small, and even two-legged, to his big monthly #PawPawty event. All sorts of spooky anipals attended this Halloween-themed events, helping to continue the tradition of big, bodacious and raucus #PawPawties! It is the grand-daddy of all #pawties after all. It was a fun soiree with nearly everyone who attended dressed-up as ghosts, goblins, witches, pumpkins and even some pink-furred critters joined in to spook, and haunt this Internet-based #pawty.
Everyone who attended #PawPawty came ready to toss their cares aside and #pawtied, dined, drank, danced and played games for the full 24 hours of the #pawty. This month’s #PawPawty was to raise awareness of and get the message out about the critters at Orphan Animals Rescue and Sanctuary in Wisconsin, USA. The October #PawPawty was a frighteningly fun event raising nearly $1,300 for the Orphan Animal Rescue and Sanctuary animals. “The Orphan Animal team pride itself on the high quality of care they provide to each and every animal,” said @FrugalDougal, “they feed high-quality foods and adhere to strict standards to ensure the best medical care is given to all pets in their care. So, thank you for coming to #PawPawty and supporting this great organization.”
Like with all other #PawPawties, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and will need a good month just to recover! If you weren’t able to attend this month’s #PawPawty, never fear, stop by the official #PawPawty store and peruse this month’s great selection of spooky attire.

Come join @AnipalTimes as they host a big, blow-out event celebrating seven months of this great Internet-based newspaper dedicated solely to the interests of anipals and anipal lovers. Join in the fun and rock with the world-famous @ShibberingC (Da Shibbering Cheetos) as they take the stage to open the #pawty and rock the Twitter-verse, helping the @AnipalTimes raise awareness of Hope For Paws. WOW, there is great stuff coming up for November too. The halloween pawty was so much fun and I’m so excited dat we could raise so much money for a charity so close to my home.
