In their tweets they use an introductory hashtag (#) so everyone who wants to join in the fun can easily find them by searching Twitter for #(fill in the blank) pawty or #(event name). #Pawties and Events is where you will find out about the #Pawties taking place on Twitter and where I point you to the official The Anipal Times #Pawty & Events Calendar. Remember to check out the calendar so that you can find the dates and times to mix and mingle with anipals. Now let’s read about some of the #pawties and events that happened by the deadline for this article:
#SJPawty July 10-11 @ShivaandJaya held a Cosa Nostra themed #pawty where mancats and mandogs dressed like mobsters (think Marlon Brando or Chazz Palminteri) while the ladies donned stylish designer clothing to mix and mingle with us he-men! Why mafia styles? Well, according to @ShivaandJaya, their visiting kin, Uncle B, “thinks he’s the boss of all bosses.” Uncle B and Auntie T, @ShivaandJaya’s grandpurrents kitties helped host the #SJPawty, a #pawty designed to create awareness of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) (underdeveloped cerebellum), a condition Shiva has; and to tell anipals how valuable kitties and doggies with CH are, and to adopt and love them as you would any kitty or doggy. Animals with CH have a very good chance of living a happy life, however and unfortunately, uninformed decisions are made that lead to CH animals being put to sleep…when in reality they just need care, love and good human companionship, like all of us. #SpencersBDay July 10 @SpencerTeddy hosted a #pawty celebrating his 1st birthday and #pawty goers noshed birthday cake, enjoyed various liquid libations and played fun games designed to bring out the “clever” in you. @SpencerTeddy is a fuzzy little bear who likes to use a computer to bring joy and love to Twitter-ville, so it was only fitting that so many anipals showed up to have fun, wish him well and try their paws at the Pawty Detective Game. All anipals know that @SpencerTeddy’s favorite detective is Sherlock Holmes played by Jeremy Brett, and that in his free time, when he’s not a teddy bear he transforms in to a teddy detective with Lucy as his detective partner.
