Fauxgue Online Magazine
A new magazine, Fauxgue, recently made its splashy debut, but you won’t find it on a newsstand – no sir, no madam. Snuffy Norton-Bearmani, the furry creator behind Fauxgue is not only strikingly fashionable, he is also committed to the trees: “No trees will be hurt in the printing of Fauxgue!” As you “flip” through the online pages of Fauxgue, you’ll see that it’s an electronic magazine committed to luxury, lifestyle and living; truly a beautiful, glossy feast for the eyes. Recently, I sat down with the impeccably dressed Snuffy as we chatted about his hot new magazine.
As Snuffy settled in to his recliner he explained how he decided to launch Fauxgue because so many of his friends commented on his lovely Bearmani designs. “I was online discussing the concept with Jed Bramwell and some other friends. We became engrossed in devising an online magazine to showcase my millinery artistry. One thing led to another, and soon we were developing Fauxgue, a visual banquet for your senses!”
Reading through the Spring/Summer 2010 issue, I quickly realized that Fauxgue covers topics such as fashion, dating, advice, beauty tips, food, sports, literary reviews, philanthropy and a whole lot more. Heck, there’s even a classified section, where I found a totally useless human for sale for $1.00! While this inspired magazine is written by, for and about stuffed animals, clearly everyone, including humans, will find it informative and entertaining.
“Pick-up” a free copy of Fauxgue, settle in to your most comfortable chair and enjoy the splendor of this wonderful magazine. The models are stunning, the photography breathtaking and the writing is innovative. Snuffy’s global team of writers and graphic artists have plans to publish Fauxgue twice a year, and with a little more help, hope to produce it quarterly to coincide with the fashion seasons. If you are interested in lending your talents to this creative online magazine, please contact Snuffy at his Fauxgue office.
Snuffy would like to thank everyone who helped bring his creation to life, and give a special shout-out to Bubbles for contributing his splendid writing talents and the Green Data Centre for hosting Fauxgue magazine free of charge.
The Anipal Times would like to thank Snuffy for designing and donating an exclusive handmade Bearmani mohair pocket polar bear, a $70 value, which will be raffled off as a prize for a lucky Anipal Times reader! Be sure to fill out the free prize raffle form in this issue for a chance to win this wonderful stuffed bear!
